Located about 25 miles out from the capital of Guyana(Georgetown), it's home to thick rainforests, Caribbean/Indigenous communities, hundreds of different wildlife species, and plentiful fruit farms. Given the climate and geographic location growing fruits like Soursop, Pineapples, Coconuts, and others are a way of life out there. Since Kamuni is apart of a bigger river channel, the best way to navigate around is by boat. Our name comes from this channel because of the landscape and how it embodies the natural landscape of Guyana.
